What We Did

Designed a 45-hour professional development series of three integrated courses, establishing an Early College Teaching Credential (ECTC) for early college instructors.

How We Did It

We created a comprehensive program framework for vertical and horizontal alignment across the three courses, informed by seven SMEs from the University of Colorado, Denver, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. We guided the integration of diverse perspectives, theories, and teaching styles, outlined moderator roles and resources, and developed onboarding instructions to navigate the program effectively.

What We Accomplished

The ECTC program provides a robust framework for developing teaching identity, engaging diverse learners, and applying practical techniques to foster equitable, effective classroom environments. It also incorporates AI-generated scenarios on bias recognition and logical fallacies, ensuring interactive, hands-on teacher training.
